I can get a large framed racer in the back of my Supe no worries - with the front wheel off that is :)

I don't mind wizzing on decent smooth open roads but I'm a little lairy of doing those sorts of speeds on country lanes - don't fancy ending my days whith my head stuck up a horses ass

The best one I've come accross is Jubilee Way in Dover. It drops down from the downs to the harbour and I've managed 62mph with my ass hanging off the back and my belly on the saddle - crapped myself LOL. Also got pulled over for doing 42mph in a 30 zone in Hythe - I asked the cops to please do me as it'd look great in the newspapers - they declined :)

Thankfully I've never (touch wood!!) had a puncture going down hill I got a huge blow-out (as in an almighty bang) at the top of the Alps years ago after having spent all day climbing. Just got to the pas, re-grouped ready for a 15k wizz downhill when my front tyre let go in spectacular fashion!! Had a 6" split in the inner tube which took ages to fix/change as my hands were frozen (-5c and snow down:() FInally got it done and had a most enjoyable trip down into Como:)
