If I remove the active spoiler, can i just do this then remove the ecu after? Or do you need to remove ecu first then the active spoiler. And any tips on locating the ecu?

P.s does any one have any pics of all this so i can visualise it? A pic means a thousand words

I currently have a do-luck on it, and the bodyshop guy rekons Ive got the active spoiler inside. Im hoping the old bumper doesnt have a tray built into it, so that I can use that tray on my new bumper Bit confused as to why the active spoiler is still in there. It would suggest that it still has the stock undertray attached to the active spoiler, and the do-luck bumper sitting on top of that, no?

Im a bit confused (as always ). My body shop is fitting my new do-luck bumper. They phoned me and asked me a load of questions about what they should remove etc... Apparently it still has the active spoiler underneath the current bumper? Also what about undertrays? They mentioned about the new one not having a tray area and the old one having one. Are they 2 seperate things? A tray and a bumper? I cannot see it as I cant get to the body shop so its a bit hard to visualize. Can any one explain plz ? Or is the active spoiler part of the stock undertray? Can I take the one off the old one and put it on the new? *Confused*

Hmm apparently they left it under the old bumper lol.

Do you have to remove the electronic front spoiler for fitting a do luck front? Just had the body shop on the phone wanting to know how to approach fitting my new do-luck. Advice?

Thanks guys. Btw Paul WTF is sikoflex lol. Good point about the 2" at top and bottom. 30 cm doesnt sound that big, is the 30x120 for the do luck bumpers? Does it give much overlap like the 2" either side that Lucifer mentioned? Cheers

Im at work right now and need to order my mesh, however I dont have a clue on how high the gap in the front of the do luck is. The mesh on ebay is 12-14" high - is this enough?

Im going to replace my tatty old mesh on my (do-luck) bumper with some new stuff. Currently its quite thick and dark. Is there any good place to get this stuff from? Im looking at ebay right now, wondering whats good and whats not. Hopefully it doesnt chip if stones hit it. Thanks!

Ill be selling my car quite soon , as I need to get the cash togeather for a house . She needs a new do luck front bumper as its motheaten and tatty, and a new drivers window motor as it recently broke. The question is do I drop the price by the cost of the new bumper + window motor + a bit for the inconveniance, or go ahead and get them done (which I havent the patience for). Ill post up a for sale article once Ive got an idea as which route ill take. What do you rekon?

I agree with Jake, its not anthracite, too light. I think there are two other shades of silver? Possibly gunmetal?
