  2. Ok. I kind of guess from those tyre sizes your cars are TT right? Mine is an n/a. Anybody out there want to give me a tyre size guide line for 18"s on an n/a. Bad news: I was picking my car up tomorrow....fresh import and have been waiting for DVLA to reg it. Have been told it won't be ready until tuesday

  4. hmmm, 18"s do fill the arches well I agree. Any advice on tyre size that still allow full lock?
  5. 19"s do look good.....but the price doesn't! When are you thinking of changeing yours terribleturner? selling your 5 spokes? Not a technical question? ok.....can people tell me what the ride difference is like, and the best tyre sizes to go with 17" or 18". Is that better?
  6. Ok everybody.....17"s or 18"......let me know what you think is best before I shell out the cash!! Pics would be a great help too.

  14. ok. When will you know if you have wheels to trade?
  15. It depends what type of wheels you have to swap. How much were you looking for? Are they the wheels in the pic? or to you have any pics of them? When you say good tread...any ideas how much in mm? Good brand tyres? Any curb marks on your wheels?
  16. mine are 16....I think. Don't even have the car yet. Picking it up on sat, with brand new tyres on. Was your supra on ebay a couple of weeks ago? I think I was thinking about buying it!
  17. I have just bought a supra and am picking it up this weekend. It is totally standard and as part of the deal I managed to negotiate 4 new avon tyres on the standard wheels. Trouble is I want to change to 18" rims as soon as I can. Does anyone want to get their car back to standard? Want to negotiate a trade of somekind? Let me know if you are interested.
  18. was the reading correct? There is a post on here somewhere about it, dated 2001, saying when it changed over it shows more miles...some kind of error. Did yours have this problem?
  19. I have read a few post on here about changing the digital ODO to miles and there seems to be a problem with incorrect reads? is there a way around this? I have just bought my car and the garage I am getting it from (pick it up sat morning!!) are sorting out the ODO for me as part of the deal. Will it read the right milage? or do I need to do something to it...buy a new clock...to get the correct reading?
  20. Had an offer of £300 on sunday. anyone beat that? I have to go to him which is a bit anoying.
  21. V.nice mate. Just bought myself a supra on saturday, got 4 new tyres in on the deal.....great....but they are on standard supra 16's...not so great. As asked above...how much? how good are the tyres? and a question of my own...any ideas how much they could cost to refurb? also, where in the country are you based?
  22. Hi, I am going to pick up my new supra on saturday and need to get an alarm fitted asap. I would really like the Toad Ai606 as I want boot release, light flash, and of course remote c.locking. Anyone free to fit it who can thatcham aprove it this weekend? PM me if you are.
  23. Thanks for the advice, Do you know if the clifford modules fit on the avital range? Also, does this include another motor? The Avital Maxx3 has a boot release but I don't know if it has a motor or needs one.
