  1. What is it with you and electronics! You must give out a huge magnetic field or something... At least if you fit the RLTC you'll be able to use to diagnostics to see if the wheel speed sensors are knackered or it's something else. You can always turn the RLTC off if they are.
  2. I've got it, it's because it says the barrels HAVE the incorrect label, not may have. So the one that says "black or white balls" must actually have either all white balls or all black in. So you take one ball from that barrel. If it's white the correct label for that barrel is "white balls". If it's black the label is "black balls". Then just swap the other two barrel labels round.
  3. Not very community minded is it though as it's aimed at making money out of gullible Supra owners? I would like to think most people on here would try and help out their fellow owners, not try and profit from them to this extent! Now if it said BMW M3...
  4. I should get it changed mate. Where did you take it? Should have gone to Triton, they'll do a brake fluid change for DOT5.1 for about £30 IIRC, and they have an "arrangement" with the MOT test place round the corner - my car miraculously passed despite having no cats if you no what I mean...
  5. Good one, I was going to suggest this. You can get better times than in real life, mainly because you can go flat out through sections it would just be too risky to do so in real life. Also if you brush the barriers you can carry on! If you've read EVO this month you'll see someone sat down for a whole day playing it to see if they could beat the all time lap record with a group C Le Mans type GT prototype. They managed 5m 26s IIRC, in a 92 Nissan Le Mans car. 8m 30 is my best so far, but I was only really going for it on the 1st section to learn it.
  6. Has anyone done the international A license yet? The 2nd to last test is a full lap of the Nurburgring following the pace car - you have to get under 10 mins (I managed 9:30). The the graduation test is driving a group C Nissan prototype round the original Le Mans circuit, from Tetre Rouge, down the Muslanne straight and as far round as just past Arnage. 230mph down the Muslanne straight, and the wheel jumps around like mad in your hands. Very very cool. Crazy boost from the thing too.
  7. Yeah, that's who I ordered mine from, came on Tuesday!
  8. Not sure why is everyone banging on about Iridiums, since CJ said this: .
  9. Just a quick one to say GT4 rocks! The wheel is great too, makes it much more realistic with the 2 and a half turns of lock. Had a bomb round the 'ring in a 97 Supra RZ, that was fun! Very very much like real life too, even the karusel. Just worked my way through the national B and A license tests, gonna have a go on some arcade mode races now.
  10. He he he, mine's just turned up, along with my wheel, which looks very cool indeed. You might not be hearing from me for a while...
  11. Mine was sent out yesterday, along with my GT4 wheel . Should be here tomorrow...

    Hello

Hiya Katie, good to see you on here in your own right! Now all you need to do is buy another Supra and you can be the latest Supra family. Mind you I think Laz has enough cars already...
  13. When you buy an import you should get the deregistration certificate from Japan - that shows it's not been stolen. Would this not show if it was a write off over there too?
  14. Go for DOT5.1 (don't use DOT5). I've still got Brian's brake bleed thingy if you want to borrow it.
  15. Have you been out recruiting Gerry?
  16. It's the master warning, it comes on when any other warning does.
  17. That's US litres you're using there I think, using UK units 1 gallon is 4.55 litres. If optimax is 83.9 per litre as Soop Dogg posted, 50quid = 59.59 litres.
  18. Yeah, same here, hate the way they look "stuck on". That's why I've had my eye on a Trial rear bumper for a while now...

    auto or 6 speed

Indeedy, totally agree. Doesn't stop the arguments though!

    auto or 6 speed

F1 gearboxes are not autos though, they are automated manual boxes, with a clutch and no torque convertor. The tiptronic is basically an automatic gearbox, so you're always going to have a vagueness which means you can't control the weight distribution into and through a corner as well as a manual. Argh no! drawn into another manual vs. auto thread!
  21. Never mind the garage, check out the cars! Ferrari F40, F50, 550 maranello, original BMW M3 CSL and a few more I can't identify! Git!
  22. Aha, approximately 993 millibars, good...
  23. Haha, how many people can all post at the same time on the same thread!
  24. Cheers Ian. How bizarre, I've never noticed the boost gauge moving up like that. So what is the atmospheric pressure where you are so I can compensate... I made sure the gauges were at their low values before taking the needles off, figuring that I could put them back on in the same place and all would be well. Unfortunately when you take the needles off the spindles move so when you put them back it's all screwy. So I'm having to hook the ignition up and then put the needles on.
