just give it time. i'm sure someone will shoot you down. I have seen plenty of the "bar horse power" calculations in operation. AND weirdly enough outside a Halfords!! lots of corsa's, saxos and clios (dont forget the mightly important 16v badge that is a nessecity - lest someone might actually turn up in a clio 182!) its amazing how according to them their wee saxo can be quicker than my TT supra cause of the exhaust that they've driven a few nails through to get that authentic big boy sound ( otherwise known as the "i drive a flymo sound") and lets not forget the stickers.....
My experience is that each sticker either adds on 10mph to the top speed or 10bhp. It really depends on the arguement involved. If this fails then onto the sound system. Yes it might be able to blow their underage girlfriend's knickers off at 10 yards but seeing as how she's not wearing any it kinda defeats the point. This unique sound system has the ability to make the car faster as it expels their drivel faster and louder from the bigsubs in the boot adding to that propulsion from the exhaust.
I love it how these boys spend tens of thousands on cars like corsas and saxos on ice and bodykits that make them look like glorified shopping trollies only to be told its still a 1.2L mate. "away an gie us peace!" (sorry i'm scottish)
