I thought the 390 bhp was optimistic but thats what the dyno runs says....although we all know how much these can vary. Would an HKS fuel rail and injectors be a wise investment...i'm planning on fitting the tranny/oil cooler kit to the car as well....should i look at more cooling upgrades? I was thinking of reducing the boost down to 1 bar and seeing how that goes but ultimately i'd like to run at 1.2 bar for the 1/4 mile at some point. Any obvious things i should check? Cheers G

No probs. Its dangerous brians ole supe. 390bhp at wheel So j-spec aerotop. walbro fuel pumps, standard injectors & fuel rail, hks fmic intercooler, water injection system, SAFC II controller, FCD, RLTC. I was running with octance booster that day to prevent pinking and actually try and reduce detonatio level to ensure that i wasn't going to be running higher temps...could that have been it? although it has been over boosting for a while? could it be a split hose? any ideas greatly appreciated as i'm a technical numpty! as said above please ignore this comment if its technically stupid.....could it be the injectors running at full cycle and not being able to fuel enuff as not sufficient size of injectors? Hi once again, Have been noticing that the car is slightly over boosting recently and was wondering why and then ran at Crail and it was boosting a bit more again. Heres the details: Car is running boost controller set at 1.2 bar, CW restrictor ring 1.2 bar, stock tubbies Was running 1.3 bar at crail at full tilt plus the Exhaust Gas Temp guage was reading 9.5..is this dangerous levels? My peak warning level was tripped for both temp and boost but was wondering is 9.5 dangerously high for 1/4 mile runs? or is this acceptable? some guys say dont worry until 10.5 and over..is this right? Hi Guys, This has probably been asked before but just wanted to know. I have UK spec brakes and i'm about to replace my brake pads. My mate drives a GT4 st205 and he says that the brakes on his are exactly the same as mine except my caliper says Supra and his says Celica. He gets really good deals on EBC pads and was wondering if i can order the celica pads for mine? Cheers G

Brake fluid looks to be above minimum when parked on a flat surface. Is the sensor hyper sensitive? I'll give it a go anyways, what DOT brake fluid should it be using?

Is there any reason why the handbrake warning light (triangle with exclamation point in the middle) would keep coming on intermittently as I'm driving. The handbrake certainly is not on, not even one click. It just keeps coming on. Could it be a general brake issue or is it just possible the handbrake sensor is a bit dodgy?

I'm about to get oil & tranmission coolers fitted to the car and was wondering if anyone knew the sizes of the coolers to order as the supplier doesn't have a record of what i needed for a supe. Thinking its prob about 1 1/2 inch thick coolers and something like 13 row and 16 row but if anyone has any details i would appreciate it Cheers Gruggs

Hi Davie, I have pics etc for the seats now and i'm sure i have a set of original supra mats as well....only thing is though i need to find them and more importantly they are a cream colour.....yuch Thats was why they need to be found as i thought i would just get them messy. Hope that wasn't referring to me!!! I've contacted the guy about the cloth seats but unfortunately he says he flung them out last week as he had a garage clearout and they were taking up space. Really sorry mate - knew they were there but can't help now. Sorry again. If i hear of anymore cloth seats i'll let you know. Cheers G

I'll send you pics of both and you can judge....It is a fairly dark grey and i think the black is standard so its probably how it was in the car that the seats came from. Cheers G

Not on my work computer. but i'll send you them later tonight. the seats are ready to ship tommorow and are in really good condition. I think i could source a set of cloth seats if necessary by Sunday though as i know of a set i could get my hands on.

I have a 2nd hand HKS type R intercooler for sale. This includes all the pipework for fitting as well. The item was purchased from MadK but was not fitted and as i'm about to buy a Supra with a fmic already fitted placing this one up for sale. This is a superb I/C and one of the market leaders.
