  1. I am looking for a standard jap spec 180kmph speedo face for my MKiv NA. Seems my speedo has had a mph clock face put on it rather thasn being converted as I thought! Anyone help?
  2. you could try running msconfig from the command prompt, which will show you which processes are running and allow you to stall them during boot process
  3. Just picked up an astra estate to replace my jeep cherokee, 1400 quid, but after only a months use youll get that (and probably more) back
  4. missed the last one, hope to make it along to clacketts
  5. 97 on an R plate. Had a smash at donnington on my previous 98 RRW and my missus moaned so much I gave up on bikes for a while, then bought a firestorm. Didnt like it much so when this one came up (£2.5k, 3500miles on the clock and looked like it was straight out the box) I couldnt resist. She's still moaning

  8. I have a 93 jspec NA, which has clocks showing MPH to 120. As far as I can tell they have been converted as they (roughly) read in mph, and I presume the MPH clock isnt standard on a jspec. The car is still limited to 120 mph which kicks in with the speedo needle at 6 oclock ie right off the dial So I have some questions: Can I get the clocks calibrated? If I delimit the car, what clock face do I need to source? Will the calibration/ delimit stop the needle going off the clock? Any links or ideas would be appreciated
  9. Should be able to get to this , if so will be at clacketts@7
  10. My my, its a My cocks bigger than yours thread.lol I own both, and have found good and bad points to both and and other days, neither of them holds a candle to my blade
  11. This toss has been going on for ever mate, when I was starting out it was "your insurance will get a lot lower when your 21" when I was 21 it was 25, 25 it was 30. I am 38 with 10 yrs no claims on a bike and a car, and havent noticed a drop in either of my insurances. Galling thing is I have 3 cars (dont ask) and a bike, tax and insure all of them, while it is a physical impossibility for me to ride/ drive all of them at the same time can I get some sort of combined policy? can I boll0x!
  12. The system is call H.I.S.S. and I think it was fitted from 99-00 onwards. buy a bike mag and use one of the partfinder companies, make one phone call and they get dealers with the part to phone you.
