My intercooler seems to be shot. Its crumbling away. Am thinking, seeing as the overall plan is to go single that i probably need a front mounted one. Is any one able to help me with what i need??? Obviously on a budget not got much more than £500 and wont be able to fit it myself.

Hey cornimac, sorry for the late reply been ralling this weekend. pheonix's number is 01923 228484 they only do fitting etc, terry s does the ordering (vortex), seems to know his stuff but i seem to have been left in the dark about my exhaust a bit. Getting the BL 4" cat back and loosing the cats. was going to be upping boost but just discovered my intercooler is shot. thinking about going front mounted but need money and advise. Obviously as expected too good to be true. I went to have a look cause i was so gutted that i had paid so much more for mine. The seller (dealer) pretended to know nothing on the phone so i thought i had the upper hand with him not realising about uk specs. More fool me, he pleeded ignorance the whole time....but to the point the car is a shambles its been in more accidents than iv had hot dinners, and fixed......barely parts not lining up properly and the backs are shot wierd movments up and down on the pedal when braking.... anyway just thought i would share that incase any one is planning a long journey for it.

dont give up. try elephant, they would only insure me on a uk (TT) and im 20 with a write off. Try insuring your mum as a named driver that should bring the premium down and say your best quote is 650...i did that, been driving 3 yrs, no points. £1400. p.s did it online

What they did was put it in manual mode and did it in 3rd got these results: 1 power at flywheel (corrected) 369.4bhp 2 power at flywheen (measured) 353.2bhp 3 Power at wheels 252.8bhp And in second 1 327.5 bhp 2 313.7 bhp 3 232.2 bhp Im pleased to have guideline figures. just wondering what people quote to others?

Put my auto on the rolling road today not sure what figure is true to the way my car is prerforming. What do you lot quote as your figure?
