  1. I'll settle for a sloshed Captain Jack Pugwash.
  2. Its a 122 foot Oceanfast, styled by the late Jon Bannenburg in the mid '80s.

    Dear Miss Davis,

Bum...Once again, despite recent improvements, I do indeed suck at teh internet.
  4. Dear Miss. Davis, I want to be very clear about my child's illustration. It is NOT of me on a dance pole on a stage in a strip joint. I work at B&Q and had commented to my daughter how much money we made in the recent snowstorm. This photo is of me selling a shovel. Yours Faithfully, Mrs. Harrington
  5. I fail at the concept of on. I ashamed.
  6. Yup, we watch it. We quite enjoy it. WTF's happened to Napoleon Solo though.
  7. Looks spookily like the current Mini.
  8. Sorry, just felt like attempting a Haiku. (apologies to Bashō)
  9. Haven't used Autocad for ages. Heres the last thing I did in Acad... An ergonomic study to visualise the strategy for a proposed Mammoth hunt.
  10. Crumbs so it was, yesterday morning...Mannings Heath Rd.
  11. Glad to see the Cord made it. Beautiful car. I appreciate the DS as being technologically ahead of its time, but its not the prettiest of things....They did so much better with the SM.
  12. (Ivan) good to see you back in the Supra Ken....we passed as I was being fashionably late for work.
  13. Yes they are withdrawn from circulation, but you can post them to the Bank of England to be exchanged...you will get £100 back in current notes. http://www.bankofengland.co.uk/banknotes/about/exchanges.htm Dont forget to include your name and address:d
  14. Good luck Asad. I don't understand the circumstances, but I can understand your disappointment. Fingers crossed here too.
  15. Its a 30' Campion I believe...'800 Racer' possibly. The whole lot went for $137,000 dollars last month at auction.
  16. Got sent this pic....I need a longer drive.
  17. This reminds me of the five-a-side matches we had after school...lines of hopefuls wanting to be picked, only to be left out and, shoulders hunched, hands in pockets, they dejectedly kicked their satchels along the pavement all the way home. Harsh times indeed. With thanks to those who mentioned me (its reciprocated), yes there are quite a few on here I feel I would be richer for meeting. I've not got a list or anything, but I've already ticked off a fair few and I'm pleased I have. Distance is an issue, I'm more likely to meet more of you guys (and ladies) at larger meets...but then the probable melee wouldn't be conducive to meeting people 'properly'. Anyone who has the time to introduce themselves, say hello, shake your hand etc is worth meeting as far as I'm concerned, but I admit there are a few of you that make not being able to make certain Supra meets doubly disappointing.
  18. Only when we are sure the kids wont turn up suddenly.
  19. Bootlid seals.... make sure the gutter is clear of muck / plant leaves etc. This sometimes builds up at the pivot point of the gas struts. Muck can also build up in the drainage points just above the rear light cluster...it normally drains out in a channel behind the light clusters....clean this area too, then pour some water down the channel with boot lid up and check it drains out and doesnt back up. Wipe the bootlid metal clean where it seals against the rubber seal, then wipe the seal clean too. Check for tears / rips of the rubber seal, and check that the joint (normally at the top between the two boot lid hinges) hasn't split. Check that the seal is seated correctly on the metal upstand all the way round. Run a thin bead of rubber cleaner (white stuff from a bottle is best) all around the centreline of the top face of the boot seal rubber, and shut the boot lid. Open it again and look for any areas of cleaner that hasn't been squashed by the boot lid sealing against the rubber...if you can see a regular even squashing, the seal is making good contact with the boot lid. Rear window seal....sorry, not had this problem before but I've seen a couple of Supras that have had bad / old seals...its a possibility, especially if crud / green mouldy stuff has got in between seal and glass. Rear wing....water can also get in through the wing mounting holes, especially if aftermarket wing has been fitted. Other than the above, it could be tracking from an area further fwd, but I'm not sure how. You are not an aerotop are you ?
  20. Hi Asad, nice car. Several on here have asked about twin pipes... could you post some pics up of how yours has been done (taken from underneath possibly) before you change it back to single exit ?
  21. Glad to read you are ok Sean...as you say, lucky you didn't end up in the river. Real shame about the car, but great that no-one hurt.
