  1. Thats the one, thanks Jake I never knew that...thanks, unless its an April Ist wind-up:)
  2. As you know, I'm crap at finding stuff in the web:) I really want to know what the music is on the new Specsavers 'butterfly' advert....acoustic guitar, very Wishbone Ash ish. Any help much appreciated as always.
  3. Hello and welcome Paid your tenner yet ? Are you a Supra owner ? Any pics...preferably with mouldy bread on your head ? You will like it here, its warm and moist.
  4. Mind you, as I'm 6'2" and shes 4'10", I dont suppose she can help looking up my nose.
  5. It is 160 gig...she just does it over and over again. To check I havent any bogies....its just something she does
  6. All the above plus... Records some crap programme then goes out the room every 15 minutes, comes back in after 'doing things' for ten minutes and rewinds what shes missed. Takes a call from her sister while we are watching a film and turns the volume off while they talk womens stuff for half an hour. Records the Sky programme guide for the maximum 8 hours, runs out of HD space so deletes my stuff to make room for Americas Next Pop Idol. Rings me at work to spend half an hour telling me stuff she tells me all over again when I get home a couple of hours later. Makes sure my nasal cavities are clean every morning before I leave for work. Love her to bits really:)
  7. Jeff Beck, Diamond Dust is a track that gets me. Jazzy with a killer lead guitar.
  8. Not heard of Man, but Ive loved Budgie for years...even though the lead vocalist sounds like a tranny eunoch:)
  9. Budgie, You know Ill Always Love You Classic and beautiful track.... Sample here http://www.amazon.com/Never-Turn-Your-Back-Friend/dp/B00000012H#moreAboutThisProduct
  10. I used to work in Funtley, at The Old School, Funtley Court. Nice little village.
  11. Are you talking about the sign for left-hand turn off for Alton on the M27 Eastbound at Funtley ? The one that takes you back round under the motorway and north up the A32 to Alton ?
  12. Er, yes, it IS miles away:) Trivial, but theres a new road just been built alongside our offices at Tower Park (Northern outskirts of Poole) and theres a signpost on saying turn right for Alderney and Roscoff:confused:
  13. Im jealous...actually shes a really good driver, just directionally challenged.
  14. When I first came to live dahn saaf from Northumberland, I spent a good hour driving around Southampton looking for Soton. Farnham and Fareham used to confuse the hell out of me too. And I have conclusive proof that the Isle of Dogs is actually a few miles south of Southsea:)
  15. Ok, I lied....I was really worried about her, and made her feel like a princess when she came in the door. I had to laugh about the map though....what a spud buying a map in Purley and finding out that the map only covered as far out as, well, Purley:d
  16. Bristols near Wales which is 'a long way away'. Londons just past Winchester. Mobile phones only work when you have them with you / are charged / have credit on them etc....I would hazzard a guess that SatNav in her car would make things a lot worse. Me make the tea ? What are you like:d
  17. Shes home at last Wifelet drove to Ikea today. Bournemouth to Croydon, not too bad a journey for someone whos been driving for 15 years...got there at 10.30 this morning, found it fairly easily albeit after a wee detour. She left Ikea at 2.45, just came in through the door about 15 minutes ago:d East is now West, Kent is next to Dorset, maps of London should have Wimborne on them and Its all my fault because my sons bedroom here is a mess even though he doesnt actually live here, hes at Uni. I just gave her a kiss and told her to get my dinner on, I've been sat here for hours starving.
  18. Its one of these... http://www.3dconnexion.com/products/3a4b.php 3-D navigator or space ball. Works with most 3-D design programmes.
  19. Oops....talk about getting the wrong end of the stick:) I thought you were talking about the window SEAL, not the exterior window trim. Your first photo shows a gap at the top of the rear edge of the window glass, thats what I thought you were on about. I'm off to find another tangent to go off on.
  20. Better pics would help. I understand what you are explaining now....I've just been to look at mine and I dont have this gap, BUT the top rear corner of the door seal rubber (the bit you are talking about ?) looks as though its a different grade of rubber to the rest, with an obvious joint line roughly where your gap seems to start....possibly just broken away ??
  21. 44 ? You're young enough to be my sons girlfriends mothers lovers sisters daughters uncles wifes toy-boy.
  22. Ewen

    She's Alive :)

    Great news Nic:)
