  1. Not sure if you're talking to me or the OP but in my case I have a dial that reads up to 300 kph not the standard 180 kph you see on most J-specs. I have the 5/8 converter now and the tape over the K but I'm fed up with the needle only using 1/4 - 1/3 of the dial! It's so hard to be accurate on speed and its just naff. I want to go back to a 180 dial and want white faces as well - as I understand it my only option is to fit a Thor DSC which is adjustable because a 5/8 conversion wouldn't be accurate on a 180 face (needs more like 7/8)????? Anyone know for sure?
  2. Lol, didn't start til 3.30 today either! What are the Coilpack connectors like to do? - I know mine are shot and I'll need to source them soon.
  3. Well done, I've had a busy couple of days as well - yesterday I fitted new front brake pads and new boot rubbers courtesy of Whifbitz whilst today I've fitted 4 new speakers, a stubby aerial and I'm now half way through doing the fog light mod. Bad light stopped play! Fun isn't it?
  4. Digital Speedo Converter Link... I don't think it's quite right as I thought about putting a 180 dial on and taking the converter off altogether but from looking at photos it doesn't seem to quite line up. Anyone know?
  5. Yeah, not much chance to beat the scoobys... got to wear helmets too! Don't think the terminals will be that high for anybody will they?
  6. Evening all, My cousin, who's well into the local VW scene, told me about this - anyone else know anything about it? Sunday Street Wars, 10th June '07 please add names here http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=497&day=2007-6-10 if attending
  7. It's going to be dear for me though as I have 300kph dials and I'll have to get a Thor DSC at the same time to adjust the signal. Anyone else had to do this? Hoping to get the heater dials & clock to all match, should modernise things a bit.
  8. Could try here: Metal Monkey Looks like good stuff.
  9. Whifbitz are doing the full set (top and bottom) for about £15 - just ordered a set myself.
  10. Right I know they were here somewhere I only washed them yesterday! Nope not where I left them. I know lets retrace my steps... that usually works: 1. Car journey, 2. Nasty man, 3. Sharp pain, 4. Nice Sleep, 5. Wake up - GONE!

  12. Glad you walked away from that mate - Sup stood up to it pretty well though considering it rolled 4 times iirc? Hope the insurance comes through in your favour!
  13. Mine was like this once I replaced the bulb that the dealer took out when he did the speedo conversion. Try this, post 2: Clicky Worked for me!
