Just a grand ....... what's that then ?????? Must admit I'm shocked ...... thought it would cost a lot more ?????
-
Had to read that twice ...... didn't realise you were talking about the supe and not the zed  Zed usually gets more looks than the supra's to be honest and we see a lot less zeds than supe, still the old bird has been around a LOT longer now hasn't it :nyah:
-
So far ....... it would appear it's every bit as bullet proof as the supe straight six ...... the engine is about as lazy and within itself and to be honest, that horrible interior is wearing better than my merc slk did at 12 months old !!!!!!! Blowers are very possible - and a DIY job if you know your way without a Haynes manual as someone did it last year in the zed club - with standard engine internals but twin turbo needs lots of new bits !!!!!! The only thing that has suggested it may be weak if heavily abused is the clutch ........ can't really add much on that front though, mine seems fine ! Only pain is that you can only get an auto box as a jap inport ....... uk cars are all manual six speed boxes !
-
Works for me ...... I don't want to hi Jack preceedings so if you want a planning meet and you want me there Steve you say where and when. HAve pm'd you my mobile number and e-mail
-
What horrible ass ........ just shake it and it looks great :search:

Well I've voted "buy the zed" ........ although it doesn't harm to keep a choice of both !!!!! They both have merits, if it's a weekend blast yes the supe is hard to beat but you'e gotta remember it was circa £40k new, the zed is £25k ....... pounds per grin that's a pretty good ration when you compare like for like !!!!!! Obviously the stock tt is more rapid in a straight line but the zed IS better in corners and a decent driver will get more out of the zed IMHO (and I'm NOT a decent driver before you get started) ...... Admittedly if you start playing with a tt then yes, you'll get better handling and performance ....... but has anyone been out in a 420 bhp twin turbo 350 zed ...... rapid and it handles !!!! and that's for £10k on mods ....... there's TT supras on here that have had £20k plus spent on mods to make them as formidable as they undoubtedly are !!!!!! Side by side, they both look great, I personally think madam's supe pips my 350 but only sfter I've done a lot of polishing !!!!!! and it's close !!!!! To dive, I'll take the 350 every time ...... much more comfortable, fewer rattles and it sits better on 19" rims ....... we're asking a lot of the old bird to do the same !!!!!!! My verdict ....... HAVE BOTH :p :p :p Oh ...... and a motorbike too !!!!! My Zed ....... on last years Midland Gumball Madam's Supe ....... on last years Midland Gumball

Hi Steve, Sorry I've been absent without leave for a while but we're looking at moving house and there was quite a bit of work to get madam's up to spec. Yeah ....... if you want it might be worth interested parties meeting up for a beer and a planning sesh !?!?!?!
-
Hi guys ........ F**king fantastic ....... I'm up for this one again !!!!!!! It would be good if we could avoid any of the Jap car meets as I think we clashed with one last year but it was still a great blast To add a bit of spice we could look at doing it proper gumball style ....... with five of six check points to blast round with the directions or just map ref to the next point to be collected !!!!!! Might take a bit of planning and would need someone manning check points but I don't mind doing some of that !!!!!! Cracking idea guys ..... count me in !!!!!!
-
Did someone say Gumball ...... I'm up for that ...... again !!!!!! How about trying to make it a treasure hunt type thing ???????? Ok will need a bit of planning ........ but I'm sure it's possible !
-
A small but perfectly formed group of 350's are planning to have a bit of a spirited drive and then drop in at the Hill Climb at Shelsley Walsh on Sunday the 7th May to watch the day's proceedings and consume a picnic :) Any of you straight six boys will naturally be welcome should you care to attend as an interim measure !?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
-
Motley and I will be there fri through till sunday, but chances are we'll be with the zeds again ........ you p155 heads coming to visit again this year ????????
-
Welcome chap ....... you're either a card player or an AC\DC fan ?!?!?!?!?
-
Why thank you sir !!!!!!
-
Great pickies and a good job fitting by the looks but my previous views still hold ......... I kinda expect the supe to have a pipe in at least one corner !!!!! Maybe one centre and one off to the right eh
-
Can't say I think central pipes would look great although they may be more achievable than one in either corner although I always think that corners look much better.
-
Yep ........ I've got twin exhaust ....... can I have a twin turbo Supra to go with em now please :eyebrows: :eyebrows:
-
Morning guys ....... Thanks for a great day, thoroughly enjoyed myself, albeit a little out gunned by the turbo boys which was well and truely brought home by my first blast in a TT (thanks class1 by the way ..... and the quick lesson on correct use of the stoppers ) As always great to meet some old friend, and put faces to names as well!!!!! I still want that Lara Croft Land Rover though.
-
Jurgen .... pm sent mate !!!!!! Give me the info and I'll see what I can do
-
Ooops ...... bloody public forums ....... settee again tonight by the look of things !!!!! Don't spose you'd clean it for me so these nice people can see your car in all it's glory ???!!!!????
-
I'll shut up then shall i !!!!! :notworthy :notworthy Hey Jurgen, If you're importing zed's now why don't you get some exposure on http://www.350zukownersclub.com ...... I know there's a few people currently waiting for cars to arrive so there's got to be people looking to try and buy. pm me if you want more info or pm veilside z on here ..... he's club chairman.
-
If it's going to be a spirited drive I might have to bring the zed ...... madam doesn't let me drive her supe above 30 mph !!!!!
-
The brembo conversion is a common one ...... as with the supra, but it's not that cheap so a Jap Spec WITH brembos is a good find !!!!! UK cars have Brembos as standard.
-
And where would you expect to find a 350z owner ...... that's right ..... the Supra site !!!!!!! Well ..... I'm here !!!!! First thing mate, get yourself logged onto http://www.350zukownersclub.com you can join for no cost initially and post your question up in the public forums no probs. Main differences that I know of are : Wheels .... cheaper version on the Jap spec Stoppers ..... you don't get the nice brembos on a Jap spec .... as standard Headlight washers .... Jap spec apparently doesn't need them Auto box ..... Does come on the Jap spec as an option but not on the UK car !!!!!! Price ...... Jap spec MUCH more affordable There are quite a few Jap Spec inports and they're running just fine from what I can tell. If you have plans for a blower of twin turbo conversion you might be better off going for a Jap Spec. Search on this site for Veilside Z and drop him a PM if you'd like he's the chairman on the 350z club and has an APS twin turbo kit. I'll also try and pm or e-mail you a post from the owners club on running an import. Hope some of this is useful mate. Put it this way ..... I have a Zed and the other half has a supe albeit an NA ...... drive looks nice !!!!!!! Also .... have a look here http://www2.nissan.co.jp/Z/Z33/0310/GRADE/main1.html Translator here http://babel.altavista.com/tr ...... and the car in front ...... is a NIssan 350Z !!!!!!
-
Turbofit ....... is there a clue in the name ...... have you been playing ?????
