Is it??? Fair enough, but ive never noticed it before though. Maybe because i have the heaters on now its cold so im getting all the smells from the engine coming through?

Thanks for the quick response .... i think its that, that smells like burning plastic .... could that even happen??? Anyone else experienced this smell???

Has any one ever experienced a burning plastic smell coming from the engine? More to the pasengers side???... and can someone please tell me what this it (see pic - the black thing) and whether it should make a 'clicking' noise after then engine is just turned off??? Thanks for the help.

Thanks mate ... Does anybody have any idea of how much i should be paying out for the job?

...should i expect to pay for a full decat (already had a rear decat) and a restrictor ring ... all fitted? Is it worth getting a boost controller? Can you only reduce the boost with the controller? Oh and lastly... if i provide the gauge how much should i expect the fitting to cost? Would it be the same for dash and pod gauges? Thanks for any info.

I love the gear box.... its mean and meaty! Its a mans gear box Drive a 911 turbo auto around everynow and then and even with that power i find it a bit boring. Kind of takes some of the fun out of driving ... and i cant imagein how boring it must be on a drag strip ... 'hummmm on this run i think il just put my foot down and let the car do the rest... again' lol
