    16" Tyres?

Yeah, not exactly rolling in cash at the minute unfortunately, just bought a house. I did look into buying some 17"s but they generally need tyres too, so just not an option at the minute. They normally go for around £400, and say two of the tyres needed replacing that's another £250 odd.

    Assen moto GP

I agree with this entirely. I'd rather see Edwards flying the american flag, he was great in WSB and it's a shame he's gone off the boil. It is a bit of a surprise that Stoner is whipping Capirossis butt by so much, Loris looked pretty good last year

    16" Tyres?

I'm running standard rims on my J-spec TT (pretty cool huh?) and have been looking at various online tyre suppliers to try ang get a price for front and rears. Most of these have the box where you select your size and then it searches what's available. There just doesn't seem to be anything for wide 16" rims other than Hwafong Skidmasters or Yawgonna Lhoosat and the like. I know there's not many people on standard rims anymore, but are there any good quality tyres that will fit still available.
  4. Hmmm.... another car on stock twins with 400 bhp. Don't recon they are "VEILSIDE ALLOYS" either. Might be ok, would need the usual checks though.

    Assen moto GP

Just found this vid of Hayden giving it some on a SuperMoto (Repsol leathers). The boy certainly has talent. Also there's Max Biaggi at the end in the yellow leathers nearly looping it ...
  6. Excellent Get some weight in that top box so he will be able to hook wheelies easier

    Assen moto GP

Quite possible. He was in just as bad, if not worse, of a position this time last year behind Hayden. I think he had four DNFs at the start of last year. His championship looked like it was over, but he was leading Hayden at the final round Shame he binned it and let that Hill Billy take the title Although i think Stoner is in a different league to Hayden, so could be a bigger challenge for him. Stoner has had a tendency to throw himself at the floor quite a lot in the past but seems to be over that now. As long as he finishes every race i think it will be a good battle all season:)

    lowering

Best get your geometry set after lowering your car as it will definitely be out. Your tyres will suffer otherwise, and handling obviously. How far you can go with a Do-Luck and be safe from grounding on speed bumps is the question here, as i know these are prone to grounding as the overhang so far.

    Assen moto GP

Race is soon starting, in case anyone has forgotten it's on saturday today. Rossi has his work cut out again, lets see what he can do

    GT3 ouch

I like the way the guy in the Porsche was finding neutral and trying the key Not much chance of it starting after an impact like that really.
  13. Yeah i had the same problem. Can't remember what i did though. You could drill the head off the screw, remove the rubber then get a pair of mole grips on the threaded stump! Or maybe hold a soldering iron on the end and see if the heeting/cooling breaks the thread.
  14. Read this, for starters... http://www.barryboys.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=25828&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0
  15. You're right Ark, it's a stupid advert. Can't see it having any effect. If you were speeding along and some bird did that finger thing to you, would you really care? Gatso is right too, it's all in our nature.
  16. Please. My handle is in the glove box at the mo.
  17. Yeah, hope not. My memory is shocking at the best of times. This could become a real chore
  18. Cheers for the entertainment, Knight racer dudes. Your stand and your girls sure did brighten up the day I fell in love with the brunette yesterday, so cheers for the pics. I'm now going to pack the missis suitcase

    Is it me?

Ha, my thoughts exactly. i thought it was only me that thought this.
  20. Yeah saw that today at Pod. A complete dog pile with sub standard ill fitting body kit put together by amatures. Whoever did that obviously had absolute minimal bodyshop experience. Things like filler daubed into cracks in the fibreglass, mastic smeared into the gaps around the rear lights. You could sleep a family of six refugees under the front arches, but a family of stoats couldnt squeeze under the rear arch. I wouldn't normally care, everyone is free to do what they like to their cars as far as i'm concerned, it's just the way that knobhead bigged this thing up as the most unique supra on the planet. He's not wrong though i suppose, i've never seen one that shite

    Poxy weather

Weather was s'posed to be really bad up here in Norfik, but there's only been a couple of very short showers. It's all bloody guess work that them forecasters do.

    Pro-S at Pod?

Cheers mate, bit late to get discount maybe

    Pro-S at Pod?

Does anyone know if there are traders at Pod tomorrow that will be selling Silkolene Pro-S? I'm guessing there will be but does anyone know for sure.
  24. I had a fault with my rear lights recently, and it turned out to be the integration relay in the footwell. Not the main rear lights relay that's visible on the fuse panel, this one was somewhere around there but the mobile auto electritian couldn't find it. All we knew was that when it was bypassed the lights worked Yours is more likely the fuse or loose connector hopefully.
  25. Mate, give this guy a call...Ty Lawer. I used to work for him and i can tell you his work is second to none. Bikes is obviously the main thing, but when i was there we custom painted every thing from Shotguns to Trumpets http://www.pageantpaintwork.com/
