right i have checked the resistance according the the charts eyefi and phil suplied and they dont match up with the resistance chart. how do you addjust the tps is just on the bolt at the side ? are we agreed that i need a new tps? anyone got one ? Max

also there denso plugs in what Pete at thor supplied they have been in about 8 months. Max

the o/d light and slip cont light flash once then two second gap then do that continusly i have checked the codes the only one showing is 41. and could i buy the parts off you to see if it is that could you send me a price. Cheers Max

the od light stays on if i press the od button or it flashs if its pressed again. i think i can remember so over members having this problem.

Class one im running greddy intercooler, hks 264 cams and pulleys,hks induction, walbro pump, blitz boost controller, apexi safc.i think thats about it. i have the diagrams from Phil (terminator) so ill get going ith checking that out also the slip cont light and o/d light are flashing. Max

Hi all i have 94 tt auto and ive had the little niggling faults sorted which some of you my be aware of but now its still showing fault 42. the cars running ok but when i get to just after 4000 rpm and about to boost fully the car jurks really badly as though there is a fuel cut also the changing of the gears is fair more jurky than it ever has been befor. Could all this be related to the TPS ? Any ideas ? Max

PLEASE I HELP AGAIN !!! Right heres the lastest the car is starting but only running for 2 seconds then dying the fuel pump is priming and running. its showing fault code 41 which Pete at thor tells me its the throttle posistion sensor . is there a test i could do to check the sensor befor i order one ? Max

ive had the battery off this should have reset it right? and whats the trigger disk and where is it located? ill check that and get busy with the mulitmeter tommorow. Max

hi all the car still isnt starting ive changed the ignitor pack for one that works which Phil (terminator) kindly sent down. Checked the crank posistion sensor which was showing 1285ohms so thats right according to the table Ian provided. all the fuses are in tact, sparks still there and still showing fault code 12. is there anything else it could be. i was told be James at JPS that it might be the auto gear box what needs changing, is this a possibility for why it isnt starting? any other things i can check. if not its going to Thor on Monday. thanks for all your help so far. I have for sale a brand new cusco strut brace still in wrapping and packaging. its polished bar with blue anodised ends. I paid £135 so i think £100 is fair then you can either pick it up or ill get you a price for postage. Max

is there a way to test if the crank sensor has gone what should the resistence be on it.

hi ian so does fault code 12 just show that it is a fault with the crank posistion sensor. couild this be whats causing the problems? Cheers

Hi Dan Mine went about six months ago and it is a time consuming job as all the dash has to come out right back to the front panel so your car will be gutted. i did the job my self in fact i had to do it twice as i forgot the tighen a clip at the back of the matrix. since i was rushing to get out round town. I think fours hours is a bit optimistic. The second time round when i did mine it took a full afternoon i think . i know they are mechanics but i doubt unless they have done it before it will be anywhere near that time. if your confident enough taking things apart and putting back together i would do the job yourself and save hundreds of pounds. if you need any help get in touch.
