  3. Hi all, Wondering if anyone could possibly help me out. Looking at purchasing an e46 325 bmw convertible for the Mrs. Ones popped up but the guy has said that the auto box is temperamental in reverse it will move back 4 to 5 foot and then have to select neutral and put in reverse again to do the same. All forward gears are fine apparently. Am I looking at a knackered box, just wondered if anyone knew a bit these boxes. Any help would be appreciated before I maybe take the plunge. Thanks
  4. nice one ill give that a go.. see if I can find my self a new unit now.
  5. Ah nice one so changing the whole unit to 180kph ones should adjust itself . That correct..??
  6. Speedo was an original 300km dial replaced with a mph sticker (before I bought it) and now goes up in mph *must of been converted). But if I was to replace with a mph dial the dials are out of sync ( eg my dial 120 at top and one I want mph dial 80 at top ) . Make any sense . Original One i want to replace
  7. Afternoon guys. I'm really confused about changing my current 300km dials to a new set which reads 180mph. Basically want to upgrade the design but cant find any 300km ones. Now my 300km dials have been converted to mph and labelled as such which results in only using half the speedo. Now it goes up in mph so if I was to change the dials the layout would be wrong even though it's going technically from mph to mph.hope that makes sense. May be over thinking this but any help would be greatly appreciated. Apologies if I I'm being completely thick.. have scoured the forum but can only find about converting from kph to mph.

  10. Hi guys, Just a quickie got a new bonnet with aerocatches fitted as this Now I'm fitting Tue bolts but cannot get access the bottom of Tue bolt for the screw if I drill. Now I'm assuming I have to remove original bonnet catches to gain access to bottom and will need to remove lights due to positioning of bolts. Does anyone else know if anything else needs to come out before I remove these and make an attempt or anyone got there catches here. I've marked where I will be drilling... Cheers
  11. Appreciate the reply thank you. Will look into that.. Thanks again.
  12. Hello guys. Right bought 3 gauges which will be going in my a pillar gauge pod. There electrical and don't use a control box. The sensors etc I haven't got an issue with doing its wiring the 3 up to a 12v source. My questions are. 1. Can I wire the 3 together in like paralel so that they go into 1 wire to a 12v source and then all 3 to 1 wire grounded. Or is it better to wire them all seperately. Have done a few searches but can't find one about wiring all 3 together. And 2. Where would be my best 12v source from experience. I've read that either the ashtray or cig lighter is a good one. Could I use the dimmer switch instead.? And grounding it where would be the best place to ground it. Hopefully nor confused what on asking . If your still reading any help would be appreciated. Cheers. Lee
