  1. Disc Brakes Australia. Well known, and, as far as I know, well respected, in the Antipodes.
  2. Interesting, I didn't know that they are alloy. Looks like the pistons are smaller than J-spec Supra (c. 38mm vs c. 43mm). I assume that, if the caliper bolt spacing is different, you'd have use the LS400 caliper bracket and figure out an adaptor to bolt it to the Supra hub.
  3. If we are talking about the UCF20 brakes, I'm not sure if they fit, and even if they do, they are not an upgrade.
  4. AFAIK all blown Mercs have a supercharger clutch. My old C230K certainly did. You could hear it engage at about 2000rpm. Nice job... very envious.
  5. Planning Portal Patio and Driveway Paving Front Garden
  6. Possible problem is that the Tremecs are double overdrive to help the American manufacturers meet their CAFE targets. OK for a big torquey V8, not so good for a revvy little turbo 6.
  7. KYB (Kayaba) shocks are about 55 quid each.
  8. Might be worth checking the Australian Supra forums and the Toymods forum.
  9. GM still supply an LS3 engine set up for a carburettor http://www.partsworldperformance.com/ls3-376-515-v8-crate-engine-19244552
  10. The Think Automotive (Mocal) catalogue recommends mounting the cooler as close as possible to the front of the radiator, because someone has already sorted out the ducting. The catalogue is available online as a PDF document, and has a lot of useful info on the different types of cooler, installation, bypass thermostats, etc.
  11. There's an LS/RX-8 thread on Pistonheads (one of Craig Taylor's). IIRC it ended up at around £18K, although that was a turnkey conversion using a Monaro engine/box bought in the UK, plus a bodykit and glass-out respray.
  12. That shopping mall is much more interesting than the one at Cribbs Causeway. http://remise.de/Classic-Remise-Berlin-english-summary.php
  13. Has that requirement changed? IIRC, the manual said that the rear fog should be checked with dipped beam on, but didn't say that the fog should go out when the headlights were switched off. In fact, again IIRC, it said that the rear fog could be independent of lights and ignition.
