Dent in n/s/r qaurter - shopping trolley (long dent!)

1 or 2 dents in drivers door

Badly painted and crap fitting bumper (don't have the cash to get it sorted yet!)

Dodgy handsfree aerial on the back windscreen that some muppet put right in front of the washer

Dents and scratches to the underneath of the side-skirts

Stupid red reflector things on the spats

Goddam stone-chips, repaired with a Halfrauds kit only to find it was a different shade

The list goes on and on!

Scrape on o/side front bumper (from sliding down the wall of my house last time it smowed),

Little dent on o/side rear wing above petrol cap,

Peeling laquer on n/side door & rear wing,

Big dent in n/side rear wing between skirt & wheel arch

All to be fixed in the forthcoming respray once my carbon bits arrive.

Horn doesn't work,

No rear fog-light, need to get round to doing the conversion,

tatty dash,

more interior lights seem to be failing day by day (gearshift stopped lighting up last night)

stone chips in windscreen.

Ok where to begin

Crack on front bumper (not me) getting Bomex fitted after NA-T to fix.

Bomex sideskirts fit badly

pin size dent on rear quarter panel

graze on driver door

a few stone chips

drivers side headlight chipped and both need refurb

lacquer coming through on bonnet and roof needs respray

rust on boot going carbon fibre after NA-T

cracked rear spat (not me) getting Trail rear after NA-T

Thats about it.

Things that I want to address:

Some stone chips on front (will get resprayed next year)

Foggy headlight that I need to reseal (probably do that soon)

and it needs a good polish to remove some fine scratches and swirls!

otherwise not too bad for a car of its age - after all it is not new and does get used and black shows up everything! grrr

Cosmetic;

[+] Small dent in the drivers side panel under the door

[+] Broken lid on the centre console glovebox

[+] Scratched and yellowed headlights

[+] Watermarked and dry paint (Getting better with each t-cut application)

[+] Small dent in the drivers side door under the handle

[+] Small patch of flaking paint at the bottom of the front bumper (cheap overspray)

[+] Staining on the carpets - looks like a big coffee spill

[+] Passenger footwell courtesy light cover is missing

[+] A couple of grommets are missing

[+] Scratches on the dash, as ever :(

[+] Lights by the auto lever (1/2/D/N/R/P) fail occasionally

[+] Ashtray light doesn't work

[+] Several fag burns (Passenger seat, shade, headliner, door card)

[+] Small scrape and dent right at the offide bottom of the rear corner

[+] One slightly kerbed wheel

[+] Stock wheels are starting to look a little tatty (and dust covered!) :(

[+] Bar across the centre of the front mouth isn't fitted (needs clips)

[+] Paint's starting to come off the windscreen wiper arms

[+] Passenger front wheel arch liner cracked (just cut off the broken bit...)

[+] Exhaust could do with a clean ...

Aside from that there a couple of 'hm' things on the to-do list;

[+] Incomplete tool set (Jack handle, etc.)

[+] Worn boot rubbers

[+] Speaker cones are starting to fall to pieces, and need replacing

[+] Tracking on the front tyres is out

[+] Which means the front tyres need replacing due to outer edge wear

[+] Dry joints in the front causing occasional creaking

[+] Replace gray car mats with black ones

[+] Sterio doesn't do mp3s, so needs replacing ...

[+] Bluetooth car kit needs fitting

[+] and of course MORE POWER! (Tim 'The Toolman' Taylor impression goes here)

Sheesh - lets hope I never sell the car on here. Someone's going to look at this list, and just run away!

ah that reminds me, i need new matts. Although i can think of more exciting things to spend £60 on, such as taking that annoying top speed limiter off.

Yeah - I was thinking that, too ... but with my special lead filled driving shoes I think it's better to leave it on there for a bit, and stay under 180-ish kph. Anyway - mine's an n/a, so probably won't go much faster anyway ;)

Well it's limited to 112mph, and it will easily go up to 140. at 112 it mean anything can beat you eventually. i've been beaten by an old golf gti from 70 mph because of it.

mine is bubbly in places and the roof looks like it has polish stuck on it

i really need to get mine resprayed in those areas. Idealy an entire respray, its just the money though and also its only me who notices it. mate had a car repsrayed for £850 inc wheel refurb. Very tempted! did a pretty good job too.
