Turning over of engine after extensive work

Over the past month I have done a lot of work around my engine, (changed the turbo's, the engine mounts for pre-facelift, to do so I removed the fuel rail, and tarted up a lot of stuff!). I'm nearly finished putting it all back together, I shall be pre oiling the turbo's before fitting. My question is:- once everything is back in with all new fluids I presume I need to turn my engine over, without it starting, to get the oil/water/fuel around to where it should be, how do I do this? is it as easy as removing an EFI fuse?

I also need to fit a restrictor ring, does it go before the first de-cat or after it?

It is as simple as pulling the fuse I cant remember what one off the top of my head ,

Does take a far few turns to get oil round to the lines though I was suprised

Thanks for that, yes I thought it had to be a fuse, which one is the problem, because I also need to move the fuel around without stating, but then does that not flood everything.

When ever my engines been sat for a while I disconnect the ignitor pack and crank it over on the starter for a bit, then reconnect and fire up

You can bridge two pins in the diagnostics port to prime the fuel rail, then remove one of the two efi fuses in the engine bay fuse box and then turn it over to prime the oil pressure.

Same as Wez, I disconnect the ignitor pack and crank it over on the starter; even every oil change till the oil light goes out

Ok, I'll try to disconnecting the ignitor pack, does this way still move the fuel around? I've got my battery on charge to make sure its up to it I probably won't be doing this till Wed/Thur, still got to get the turbo's in yet.

It would stillmove fuel around but not worth worring about
