Holset turbo

I guys been looking at going single turbo so im buying up the bits over time

Found a turbo a holset h2e? Basically an older version of a hx50 the guy said

 

What i need to know is im going for 550-600ish power wise but i want it to have as little turbo lag as possible how suitable is this turbo?

They're not the most modern of turbo. They're pretty popular on Diesel trucks and RX7's though.

 

What size compressor wheel is it?

 

For that power, and minimal lag your best of buying one of the Bullseye Batmowheel's. They offer a billet 63mm iirc that is super quick to spool and is capable of that power.

 

Whifbitz supply the Bullseye turbo's and they're pretty in expensive for the quality

The holset turbo's are made for diesel cars and i spoke to the main dealer of this brand and they actually told me that the turbo casing isnt made for high revving petrol cars due to the intense heat compared to diesels.

They will crack and in some case's blow up filling your nice engine with turbo bits.
