Muffleman
be interested to see what it made matt, i like that car:D Has been interesting mate. It's a Mantis GT, one of only 10 or 12 made. The GT is the mustang 4.6 but with a supercharger. What Marcos did was run the stock mustang ecu with a unichip piggyback and rising rate fpr You'd think they'd do it properly on a £60k car Anyway, the claimed power is 500bhp but they are WELL below that. We've put on an Omex standalone ecu (same as GEMS\AEM) and already the difference is impressive. However, I got to 460bhp today and had to stop as the injectors were maxed out. The 500bhp figure from Marcos was clearly bollards So we're going to pull an injector monday, see what the flow rate is, calculate what size is needed and speak to the customer. We'll check the pump too and an aeromotive FPR is going in. 300lbft torque at 2200rpms was nice though We will crack 500bhp in it, but need to up the fueling. Not looking forward to the final finishes on the road, Paul at Austec raced competitively in TVRs for 9 years so has some idea of how to drive light RWD high power cars. It will be 500ish with lots of torque early on in a plastic car. Definitely a brown trousers and laptop sick guard for that day

Muffleman
Little update on that Marcos, one or two of the petrolheads on here have asked me Finished the power runs tonight, made 513bhp and 430lbft. Peak torque by 4800 and one huge area under that torque curve with 300lbft by just 2200rpms. And oh the noise Will try and get a vid clip tomorrow Needless to say I have enjoyed mapping this one
