Lbm
Hello everybody I'm having my UK Brakes put on next week OEM Discs, OEM Calipers, Goodridge Lines, Motul 600 Fluid, Hawk Fast Road Pads, Front & Rear fitting kit & Front Shim Kit Everything arrived together, except a rear shim kit... Do I actually need this? Your advice welcome, as always

Nic
You don't really need the shim kit on the rear.

Chris Wilson
You get a better pedal feel without any shims, they add a tiny amount of "squashyness" which is magnified by the hydraulic ratio.
