Am so excited about getting my car back on the road and with thee clouds above getting darker and darker i slipped the new turbo on, bolted her up tight and then remembered i hadn't drilled or taped the hole for my EGT sensor :banghead: . Time for a break i think to chill i think. I have all of tomorrow to finish the install :)

You can drill and tap in situ with a vacuum cleaner and a big dollop of grease, but its safer to do it with the turbo off :)

 

I just love theat feeling of anticipation when a big project is nearly completed..... just can't wait to try it out.

 

I have to write myself a checklist with the important things like check I've filled it with oil & the cam & flywheel locking pins are out :blink:
