Yes, very easily if you compare the pre-facelift 6spd and the rest of them. Can you post a pic?

Shamelessly stolen from Nic, big 6spd diff on the left, smaller (all others) on the right:

The small diff can be found on some late 6 speed cars ive heard, so if it was from a late car then he may have been telling the truth.

I have a 6 speed tt diff fitted to mine and it looks like the one in the right of the picture. was told its from a facelift supra.:)

You are both correct, the facelift 6spd had the smaller diff casing, although there was a cross-over point where some facelift cars came with the earlier diff casing.

It's a small casing that much is for sure. It could be an auto TT diff, NA diff, or late model TT 6spd diff.

If the secondary bolt on the mount was from the original it'll rule out the NA diff. Looks like the oil seal is shot one one side - all the black stuff on the driveshaft joint isn't normal. Has it been replaced?

The secondary bolt was on the diff when i bough it, so looks like it can be either a 6spd tt or an auto tt diff then?.Does look like an oil seal has gone, are they quite easy to replace? and what sort of price could i be looking at?
