about 2 weeks ago and went about fitting it today

Its real hks dv and came with supra fitting kit

The amount of work and modifying that had

place where is was ment to go it would not fit

and the bonnet would not close

Will get pics up tomor lol

I just removed a nut from a stud on the Turbo manifold, placed the BOV fixing bracket over the stud. Attached BOV, then when got position right, tightened all nuts etc. The insulation on the underside of the bonnet does touch the BOV, but it's fine. 10 mins (and a cut finger!)

I bought the MKIII dump valve flange to have it mounted slightly different.

It was a little tricky but it turned out exactly the way i wanted it. Is it possible you have the MKIII kit? It does need a bit of work though ;)

lots of work had to be done with other hoses and getting them

to fit tru gaps etc some dose i tell ya. There is another flange

coming off piping by the air filter pipe and that flange is blocked

up, thats what obstucting it from going in that position as i think

someone tried to have 2 bovs fitted lol

As you can see from the engine bay pic my old blitz bov fitted in no problems

but when i went to fit the hks in it simply would not fit, the peice up top circled

red is blocking the hks bov from fitting into position

Dont think the top flange should be there :( its blocked off but its in the way

  • 3 weeks later...

If fitted loads of these and there stock fitment. All i can think is that you've put it on the wrong side of the turbo pipe.

I refitted a 1 for a friend not long ago who put it on the wrong hole, it wasnt in correctly and looked totaly out od place.

It attatched to the hole closest to the front of the car when you take the stock recirculating valve out.
