Had a couple of hours today to do some more to it:

Had to remove the entire exhaust:-

And remove the Widebank Lambda sensor

Next was the turn of the wiring loom, I have decided to remove the loom with the engine.

for a thread with 27 replies and its only a week old this one had a lot of views. Has a link to it been posted elsewhere? Not that its a problem, Im just trying to work out why it has such a high view rate..

good luck with the mods btw, single turbo makes the car a totally different beast but its still great fun.

as I say its not a problem, just after years of being on the BBS I tend to notice oddities like this and normally look for the reason just in case I have missed something on the post like boobies or bearded clams

No need for any donation, the bandwidth taking up by the thread is minimal compared to the other bits of the BBS.

Engine out time

I spent a fair while making sure everything was tidy and disconnected.

The total time for taking this engine out from where I left it last Saturday was 2 1/2 hours.
