Dragonball 2013 - The Road To Rouen 17th to 19th May 2013

Dragonball 2013 is here

Our trip this year will go through France ending up in Rouen. The dates are from the 17th May to the 19th May 2013.

Due to anticipated numbers we are being split on to 2 Eurotunnel trains. The first train departs at 7.20am on Friday 17th May, the second train departs at 7.50am on the 17th May. We will then meet at the Total petrol station just as you come off the train in Calais, and then travel down through Northern France to the hotel just south of Rouen. Using normal A roads for most of the journey we will travel through Amiens and then on through the French countryside to the Mecure hotel south of Rouen. On Sunday 19th May we will return to Calais for a 4pm Eurotunnel departure to Folkestone.

Eurotunnel costs will be £78 return

Hotel costs will be £65 per night for a twin/double room, so that will be £130 for the two nights. This includes breakfast for both days, making this a great rate for this hotel.

As usual 2 window stickers will be provided for all cars attending, but additional larger Dragonball stickers and orange number 13 stickers are available for pre-purchase in the shop.

All these items will be put up in the shop by Sunday 6th January with only 20 spaces being available initially, and further tickets being released in batches after that.

If it is you, your car (with or without a friend) You will need to buy 1 Eurotunnel item and 1 hotel item from the shop.

You may purchase multiple items, so you can purchase 2 hotel rooms and 2 Eurotunnel, or just 1 Eurotunnel and 2 hotel rooms if you wish.

Everything will be done electronically, so you wont get any tickets but you will receive PMs with your booking details.

This is intended as a mkiv supra owners club event, non-supras are welcome but we may choose to limit the number of non supras if we feel the level of non-supras is too high.

As part of your booking you will be provided with a commemorative handbook which will contain your stickers, your itinary and some other relevent information. Bigger stickers may also be available on the day, but these sold out before we got off the train last year so your best bet is to pre-order your stickers via the shop link..

The hotel has a restaurant, and is also located close to a few restaurants, but the plan is to try and arrange an evening buffet each evening so we can all eat together.

Tickets should go on sale around 2pm on Sunday 6th Jan.

third batch of 6 Eurotunnel and 6 hotels just went in to the shop.

This may be the last batch so if you want to come along then buy them while you can.

Still some tickets left in the shop so hurry on over if you plan on buying any. The cut off date for buying tickets is the 4th Feb as I need to confirm with the hotel and Eurotunnel the exact numbers that are coming.
