Anyone offer any advice to remoivng it without ctting the pipes....i dont wanna do it the bull in a china shop way in case the new one doesnt fit too good, or the car doest feel as good as the standard one. Chris Wilson Posted December 7, 2007 Share Posted December 7, 2007 Get new hoses from Toyota, and then you can replace it if you wis. If those hoses are hard, so will many others be, and this is the cause of sequntial and other issues. Check them, and if the others are hard renew them, with Gates or other top quality RUBBER hose, or new stock ones, NOT silicone, as the small bore stuff has no fabric liner in 90% of the stuff you can easily buy, and splits and tears.
