need help identifying part on back of engine!

its above the flywheel i just removed my tranny and noticed oil leaking from this..i dont know what it is? does anyone out there know what it is? does it have a gasket behind it i can just replace? i need to know asap before i put my transmissin back in tomarrow!! any help would be nice thanks!!

I might have the same issue. I haven't taken the tranny off yet, but it is definately leaking from the back of the engine so maybe its leaking the same place as yours. On the front it's also leaking from the main crank seal. :(

awesome! i will be doing that right now then! thanks for all your help!! i didnt want to start pullin stuff if it had nothing to do with the oil leak or screw anything up! this is my first supra and its been parked for a couple months since my transmission started leaking!

 

im fixing that now..i replaced the front seal on the transmission..but im not sure if thats what was leakin..is there anything else in the bellhousing that could leak?!

i got that cover fixed! it was easy!! now for the tranny....hopefully that seal fixed it! because its goin back in the car in 30 minutes!

yea its factory twin turbo....but now the tranny leaks again!! it lasted about 45 minutes of driving..i think my torque converter is wore out there it meets the seal! dangit!!!!! i need a tranny\torque converter now!
