Can anybody add to the list of black superheroes?? Just been chatting about them at work and this is all we can think of.

1. Storm (X-Men)

2. The Green Lantern (Justice League)

3. Static Shock (some cartoon)

Now do you think we can add Blade?? But he could be classed as a sort of antisuperhero. Then we thought of Catwoman, but originally in the series she's white. So any more for any more??

Whitewash was the first black hero from Marvel back in the 40's but his buffoon image was quite negative, you've also got Black Panther, Black Lightning, Lothar from Defenders of the Earth, Spawn (?), The Brown Hornet, Shaft (in a similar way to Blade), Cyborg from Teen Titans..... probably more but I'm not geeky enough to know ;)

More importantly what are you doing at work?

Was there a Catwoman before Eartha Kitt then? :conf:

No, but i was think more along the lines of when she first appeared in a comic book (1940 if anyones interested).

Good job guys with all those characters. And what am i doing at work?? Well due to greed and the prospect of 2 and 1/2 times wages i decided to work over christmas. Stupid stupid boy, that's all i can say.
