RICHARDA
The wife and I are thinking of possibly relocating to the N.Shrops area, Telford, Market Drayton, Wrexham, Wem etc. Are there any areas to be avoided? Have house prices started to fall yet? Many thanks Rich
Pete
There's plenty of places to avoid. Lower Prees is particularly scary - or at least one part of it is with a mad old fella and his ancient tractor and hairy cows.
G-NEMIE
The only problem is, If you live in shropshire , "BURNA" likes to to poke you with a stick.
Pete
Just throw a bottle of beer in the opposite direction, that keeps him occupied for a few mins.

Burna
Someone say beer? I think it's lovely in the 'Shire', I think Bilbo's house is currently on the market isn't it? Actually I like where Pete lives, seems a nice neighbourhood. I may grow an extra appendage and move there Cup of sugar please Pete? I can picture Pete frantically searching through the property pages panic struck!

Nicer places in Telford - Shawbirch, Admaston, Priorslee, Bratton, Avoid - Dawley, Hollinswood, Sutton Hill I live in a nice part of Wellington - but there are some rough parts. Same with all places really.
hoff
Im not a big fan of Wrexham its self. Some nice areas around it though. Shrewsbury area is pretty nice as is the shropshire/powys border where im at. A lot of people are moving to this sort of area due to the location in regards to the big cities etc. Telford is 35 minutes away, shrewsbury 15. Liverpool an hour, manchester 1.5 hours etc.

hoff
Good call Burna. Though council tax is cheaper in Wales. And you get a better deal with the doctors and dentists etc. Perhaps you should move to a little village just 1 mile into wales near oswestry and shrewsbury called Four Crosses;)
