JohnnyW
After a bit of advice, I recently got my car's colour changed from red to black but on the exhaust there is some red overspray from whatever monkey did an accident repair on the car. I really like the backbox on the car so was wanting to keep it. I was wondering what the best way to remove the red overspray would be. I was thinking some very fine wet & dry paper and rub it down but thought some of you may have some better suggestions. Here's a piccy to show the problem area: http://www.jwwebdev.co.uk/Supra/Respray/17.jpg Cheers Johnny
Ric
some autosol and a lot of rubbing will get it off or rub a small amount of thinners on there, then buff up with autosol

colsoop
Yep paint stripper would do the job followed by a metal polish to restore shine.

JohnnyW
An update on this, had a go at it this morning with white spirit but didn't have any affect so brought out the big guns aka Nitromors:eyebrows: What a difference got all the paint off in about 2 minutes then cleaned it thoroughly. Still to polish it up but it's still mega shiny Here's the pics Before Nitromors: http://www.jwwebdev.co.uk/Supra/Respray/17.jpg After Nitromors: http://www.jwwebdev.co.uk/Supra/Exhaust.jpg
