My camera has packed up and i need to buy a new one. I dont need a really wucker pukka model as the majority of my pics will be normal holiday type snaps but I will be needing it to take pics of houses that can then be put onto a web site.

Seeing as I am quite a meany and currently unemployed, I don't want to spend a lot of money and was wondering what you clever folks thought of this camera here?

Had the previous model of that years ago I believe. Certainly looked like that. It's ok for £20!

How's it going? :)

I picked up a Samsung S830 yesterday to use when i cant be bothered lugging my D70 around.

Not a bad spec 8MP , high ISO ratings etc with manual mode. £80 new which i didnt think was bad. So if your after a real budget model CJ may be worth considering

Second hand Sony. I have tried Nikon and Fuji digital cameras, and both gave a LOT of trouble and poorer results than a cheaper model Sony, which, aside from me dropping it in a cows drinking trough, has been 100% trouble free.

How did it survive the trough? My old Kodak camera survive being thrown into a bucket of water, unfortunatly my new phone at the time didn't :@

Ah well, apparently there was only one in stock and that has now gone :(

Things are good thank you. After settling into my new role of bar person / table waiter / entertainer / singer (dont ask), the season went fairly quickly. I am now settling down to a life of R&R over the winter period before things start again in the middle of April.

Now, whether that will be at the same place as this year or whether I start something on my own is yet to be decided....:innocent:
