ADL Mark
How many miles has it done Jody? Looks like it's the complete kit to convert the release mech etc.? Any idea what pedal feel and bite is like? Cheers.
JODY T
Ive do not know the exact mileage but Ive had the guys in the workshop strip it and they have reported very little wear atall... And is complete. As for the feel, OS Giken clutches usually feel much lighter than their cheaper counterparts, But remember this is a heavy duty clutch kit... So the feel and bite will be different from stock..
ADL Mark
Understood. No pictures of it dismantled then? Anything else needed to go with it, new release bearing, new flywheel bolts etc.? A quick search tells me this is one of the best clutches for the mkiv, but common sense tells me you don't take testicles in part exchange? JODY T
Ill get it dismantled tomorrow and get some pics.. No it doesnt have the flywheel bolts thinking about it, and whilst the clutch is removed it would be a good idea to swap out the bearings as a matter of course.. OS Giken is one of the best clutches period... They are expensive but worth it IMO.. Testicles for part ex? No....... now girlfriends! thats a different story
ADL Mark
Thanks Jody, let me know on the pics and I'll let you know on the clutch, cheers Is it a standard bearing or OSG specific, if so how much are they and can you get them? Hmmm, I have a 'lovely' ex-girlfriend you could gladly come and take away
