tarcase
Knew it would be slippery this morning but wow not that bad. Lost it on the Beckhampton roundabout A4 plus various other places including trying to get up a hill!! Nightmare.

ShamelessTT
I had this problem, i changed my back tyres from a cheapo brand (that came with the car) to some decent ones all round and made a world of difference.
Guest DaveWilko
Mine has barely legal Klebers on the back that have been swapped round so they are rotating the wrong direction. I only got the car a few weeks ago and it's just back from a week at the painters. I'm not suicidal! Going for new boots asap. Wet junctions are a bit too 'interesting' the way it is lol. Anyone got any recommendations? Was thinking about getting Toyo Proxes T1-R
GazB
Just put new Toyo Proxes T1-R, what a difference, like driving a different car. Bags more grip than old tyres. Haven't run it in wet yet though!

Haven't run it in wet yet though! Toyo T1-Rs are great in the wet! They made 230bhp through the front wheels managable. Pirellis that were on the Golf before that were pants The only thing putting me off the Toyos is their wear rate. 3000 miles and 3mm left? :O
Havard
Dunlop SP9000's are great in the wet! H.
Guest DaveWilko
Auto Express has a great tyre test this week. I only got a quick read at it cos I borrowed it for 5 minutes from my da but it seemed very comprehensive
