michael
http://www.currys.co.uk > Medion GoPal Just under £80 I got my old man one for his birthday, I had a quick play and it seemed very good, he seems to like it too. Only negatives would be a fairly small screen and AA's rather than a built in rechargeable battery. Dabs one looks OK though, I went for the Medion because it was cheap, small and has SIRF III, some of the other cheap ones didn't.

If I was paying that much I would go TomTom as the amount of 'free' maps and stuff floating about is huge. JB
Shane
Looks ok, but I couldn't see any reference to the level of postcode its searches to in the spec. I used a cheapie one some time ago and it was rubbish as it only accepted the 1st 4 digits of the postcode and only ever took you near to where you wanted to go. I bought a Garmin C510 and it is excellent for UK use but even with the extra software loaded is not as good for European use, SHAMELESS PLUG APPROACHING:p......I am thinking about selling it so I can buy the new cartrek which has all the Eu. mapping.
