i would agree bud mine feels pretty slow compared to homers but then b'have has a daf i think and his is on pars with homers on spool and mid range i would say.

I didn't realise Charlie had a 4088 in his, thats one to try and blag a ride in then :D Is that in his 6spd or the auto?

Either way, if it's on par with the T67 it's obviously not a viable option to gain more lower down torque.

I've had a PHR Stage one and currently have a GT4088. In my opinion the 4088 is much better suited to the Supra, although I do wish I'd gone for a slightly smaller turbine housing. The .96 back housing is just a little too late spooling for my tastes. I'm convinced a .81 A/R 4088 would be the perfect compromise between the weedy t60/t61/gt35 turbos and the t67 turbos.

Ryan's been in my (gt4088) car and several other gt4088 and T67s. I'd be interested to know his thoughts on how they compare.

Its interesting to hear all these opinions on various turbos.

This along with the SRR dyno day thread there are dyno plots which can be overlayed to show true comparisons.

I think that dyno day has proved to be a real asset

What a great way to spent an afternoon - tw*ting around in single turbo supra's :D

Again I was very impressed with your car, the power comes in so soon and punchy, a very different driving experience to mine.

Still not sure whether I prefer the T61 or T67 for the way it delivers power, perhaps something in between the two :)

Yeah MattC has a GT35R and i've got a t04R and they are enjoyable in different ways, the 35R is almost instant but the T04 is real fun when it hits full boost.

I will look at the datalogs from all the different cars tomorrow as got the morning off and will try and do a little write up on what i think of the different turbos i have mapped.

Only a couple of weeks to go and I'll be experiencing this single fun! I'm having a garrett 4088R but will be on stock cams for a while. Don't go asking me any other technical quesitons at this stage though as I'm clueless. Hopefully the engine will last longer on this rebuild than the last time though. CAn't waiit in for another 1000 miles knowing that the power is there but I must restrain myself!
