Matt _Aero top_
Hi people i'm in the process of fitting my new 19" rims and not wanting any light fingered person to take a fancy to them so i'll be needing a GOOD set of locking wheel nuts or maybe even 2 sets as the car is parked on the street at night . Any ideas on which are a good make please people .
carl0s
A lot of people recommend the McGard 'tuner' locks. They fitted fine on my Volks. The only problem is that I bought two sets, and they're both so similar that they're basically identical. I only need one key for both sets I guess the thieves will have a key that fits perfectly. robin
with the right tools you can get pretty much any nut off. You wont stop a determind thief but you should prevent the more casual thief.

carl0s
The OEM Toyota ones are apparently made of cheese Perhaps that's the 12yr old Toyota ones. They may have changed them.
Kevin Huntley
We do the Mcard Tunner nuts for £34 these will fit with the aftermarket Japanese wheels with the smaller holes. We also do Lock & Nut sets from Volk (Blue, Red, Black) £94 a set and 5Zigen (Blue, Red, Gunmetal) £84.00 a set. Hope that helps. Thanks Kevin
