He had some sort of ratchet strap around the pully wedged against the ground and a massive breaker bar on the bolt that he hit with a big hammer. Homer Posted July 29, 2007 Share Posted July 29, 2007 The proper tool is bascally a bar with two screws in that bolt to the pulley itself, then use a bloody huge breaker bar against it. For me, that didn't work, so hooked up a very high power car battery and used the starter method (worked first time).
