SRB Power ltd
That is the question. I'm pretty sure 9x18 ET35 go on the front with no probs, but need to check 10x18 ET20 will be ok for the rear? Cheers in advance
Scooter
my gut reaction is that you'll have arch rubbing problems. I think ET of around 42-50 is normal for 10" rears
Gaz Walker
They won't fit the rears Dan... Gaz.

Terminator
Gaz is right it you offset that will cause problems. I have 10.5 rears but they are within a couple of mm of the the correct stock offset, so I have arch clearance, it is tight but it does not touch. You want to stick as close as you can to stock offset or you will compromise the suspension.
SRB Power ltd
Cheers. Are the 4's really affected that much by the offsets, in terms of suspension geometry? Some of the 13 and 14 guys run really low offsets without too much hassle, so it's interesting to hear this about the 4.
Alex
Does this help? (This was talking about Rear 18*9.5 VOLK TE-37's. "The 12 offset will give better clearance on the brakes, providing the centre disk is high disk, low dish. Likewise the 22 offset with high centre disk, low dish." SRB Power ltd
If that's saying a 9.5x18 ET12 will be ok on the rear, then a 10x18 ET12 for examples sake will be a further 6.35mm on the inside AND outside (ie, stick further in by 6.35mm and out by the same amount). So thinking of inner clearance now, a 10x18 ET20 would move the wheel a further 8mm inbound of where the 10x18 ET12 would be, so a total of 14.35mm further inbound from where the 9.5x18 ET12 would have been. The outer edge of the wheel would sit just 1mm (and a bit) further towards the hub than the TE's in 9.5x18. So bottom line, if the 9.5x18 ET12 TE's fit ok on the rear, and there's at least 14.35mm of clearance to any suspension components (plus a few extra mm to allow suspension travel and movement of anything around there), then they'll be ok. That part I can't help with too much cos I don't have a 4 to look at:( No good asking Japan either cos they only ever list silly offsets that means the wheel doesn't sit flush with the arch, but lost under it instead:innocent:
