SLip control off question

dunno....it might be like one of those placebo things, but my 6 sp, seems a lot less clunky with it off, and a lot more smoother drive....unless its wet i dont really see the difference, in the wet, all it does is causes problems anyway....its more of a problem than a safety feature.

i did look at making a timed pulse on the ignition to switch the pesky thing off, for anyone electrical/electronic minded it would be pretty straight forward and the bits would be peanuts but in the end up i ripped the lot out on purchase of an uprated gearbox

I never turn mine off cos i'm too scared to, are you saying it will drive better without it??

 

How about in the rain?

 

Only had the car 6 weeks so bear with me!

It can be a little inconvenient at times especially if you pull out infront of another vehicle.

 

On a slippery road the traction control can cut in and you lose a great deal of power and the acceleration you expected to have, seams to take an eternity to get the power back.

 

Imagine the situation you could be left in!
