you're building an Ultima? fantastic, how's it coming along? got any pics or spec?

Ultima, practical? ha! but compared to the SR8 it's like a family mpv lol ;)

Its all in the planning stage hope to get part build next year and build it over a 5 year peroid I will then sell the soop for the engine.

fantastic, love to know how you get on. How much planing is there, lots I guess?

The Ultima is special, I'd still prefer it over this SR8 because it's a bit more road car like (ish), is more than quick enough anyway and looks great too!

you do realise, once you have that, everything else will seem slow - there will be no going back lol

exactly, if the old SR8 has the record, what time will this beast do I wonder :D

test drive? is that possible? must be the closest us mere mortals can get to driving an F1 car

Test Drive:

Got an email back, sent them location and contact details, hoping to hear from them soon.

SR4 vs SR8 vs Ultima -> sounds like an interesting day!

You can also build the radical yourself (my plan)...Im in the ultima camp! If you want practical, get a ford. :p

yeah tell me about it I have loved them for years! My old man is an engineering manager and has built cars in the past so he is going to give me a hand. One other reason for taking it slow is I should be 28 when its done so should be able to get insured. Looking at 400-500bhp but in something that weighs around 700kg should be more than enough to arrive at the gates of hell in a ball of flames

that and the supra is pretty much finished... Also want something that I can build from scratch.

and from the online catalog, the radical looks like a big mechano set :D

Also would like to see one with a flappy paddle gearbox...
