Would the expression change as a FSE was gently inserted into ones nether regions ????;)

At the end of the day this is the first Aeromotive that ive heard of as failing , i wont be changing mine , good job CJ had a guage on board allthough a lesson in closer monitering may be in order , i find it better to check the guages before a proble occurs than use them too diagnose it after it happens .

Oh FFS, calm down everyone!

OK, the EGT prior to the problem is an unknown as I had disconnected the battery (and hence lost the peak hold function on my Defi's) to work on the car.

The EGT's now are anything between 700 and 750 peak. Toodling along they are between 500 and 600.

At the end of the day, it was a faulty FPR. Shit happens - even with the best (or not as to you opinion). Luckily for me, the engine was not seriously damaged otherwise i might not be quite as pragmatic :)

One thing I would say is that Mig and Matt H were both very appologetic and have done everything they possibly could have to help me out.

That's very true Syed. And, as I always say to my sons, if that's the worse thing that is going to happen to me this week, then I will settle for it.

At the end of the day it was a PITA hassle - but nobody died! :) and I got to learn more about the workings of the car than i did previously - so that cannot be bad eh? :D
