IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Ok Ive made a slight mistake :(

Today I posted 8 Sill + Rad sets to members via order of payment on my pay pal listing.

Double sided tape secures the sills in place - on these 8 sets I have used the THIN tape and not the thicker BODY FOAM tape.

Tonight my friend popped round to fit his to the supra only to find that the THINNER tape (white) does not hold the sills in place as I hoped. I decided to use the thinner tape on the first lot because I did not want the sill to sit proud from the car with the thickness of the FOAM (red) tape.

However as it turns out the RED BODY FOAM tape is the ideal for the job.

Those 8 who receive the sills + rad covers can see the style of tape (there is a small section on your rad plate).

ALL OTHER SILLS NOW HAVE THE RED BODY FOAM ATTACHED.

If you do get the white tape please dont worry - there are 2 options.

1) I will send you the sections shown in the pic below via post if you drop me a pm for free.

2) You can nip to the local motor shop (even halfords I think) and get a small roll for cheap. It does not have to be the red thats just the peel off strip.

PLEASE NOTE: The thicker tape STILL allows the sill to sit level ! it will not sill proud. There is nothing wrong with the fit of the sill itself.

I must apologise - I did think it would be the better option going for the thinner tape.

Really sorry chaps :( just drop me a pm if you need some sending.

Please see the picture below for positions of tthe RED TAPE

They looked awsome on my mates car tonight!

INSTRUCTIONS FOR FITTING SILLS

1) Remove original Sills by pulling upwards gradualy - the white clips that hold the sills in place will pop out. It should be possble to push the original sills (when in place) to the left/right and slide them off these clips but to be honest I found this hard to do. Pulling upwards from one side seemed to do the trick easily.

2) Use pliers to pull the white clips UPWARDS form the bodywork. Remove all of plastic clips.

3) Now you can see how dirty your sills are !!! Wash down and use T-cut to gently remove any ground in dirt. Please DO NOT use T-cut / polish on any area where the sticky pads will affix to (but sill make sure they are free from dust/grease)

4) The upper thin bent edge fits under the door rubber as the original plastic did. Peal back the white protective plastic from this top edge. DONT USE A KNIFE - USE YOUR FINGERS TO PEEL BACK

5) Peal off the RED covers from the FOAM tape stuck to the sills.

6) LOCATION:

Locate the sill so each end covers just past the outer holes where the white clips were located. This is the flattest part of the sill and will ensure that you gain best adheasive quality.

Place the top thin fold under the rubber and then lower the front down to make contact.

When in place use a cloth to push down (CAREFULLY) where the pads are located - do not press on really hard or you will dint the sill !

Leave for a while (or do the other side) as the adheasive tape becomes stronger after a time.

Remove the rest of the protective white film + any sticky patches with a soft cloth .
