Gaz could you post up a list of all the deficiencies in the PHR kit so I can copy it into the dispute thread I have initiated with PHR.

Thanks, I am trying not to let my issues with them tarnish my enjoyment of watching this dream come together.

Cheers Gaz I can't wait to pick her up.

Are the calipers staying that baby blue colour??

If so I'm going to politely say nothing.

No, they will go nice and shiney once they are baked. That is just the powder thats went on this morning.

All the bits are to be as close to silicon hose blue as possible!

Regards,

Gaz.

I have just burnt dinner,

Thought I would have time to have another quick look on here and then noticed more pics dinner is trashed.

Oh well at least the motor is looking good.

Have you cut the plug cover yet to customize it for the new bit, I think it will look awsome with the new plug cover and the cut section painted up. Unless you have had a better idea!

Can't wait!

Please feel free to express your opinion,

Lookin sweet Gaz, fingers crossed for deadline!

I prefer a less purple, richer blue...but the calipers are looking better now than they were. At least all your stuff will be the same colour and not 30,000 iterations of blue... :)

Yep - we need the rocker covers back from the polishers so we can match the polished cover up with the VVTI cover. Then it needs cutting and off to the bodyshop.

Its darker IRL :)

I didn't give it much thought myself as I have given Gaz a free hand with the engine dress with the exception of an "engine bay aesthetics budget" (hate the word bling) and i know exactly the colour you are on about as it is tried and tested and I have seen it on many engine bays from corsa's to supra's and it does look good but I did not want it to be the same as other peoples cars and Gaz you will be pleased to know I love the colour and the individuality of it,(this is when you say you have done hundreds in this colour) I want subtle classy and individual for the whole car inside and out and I think you are well on track keep up the hard work and I look forward to more pics.

Alex thanks for your opinion I hope my reply doesn't sound defensive or argumentative but wait untill you see this thing finished she will look amazing.

Actually this colour is a first. Its going to look really nice all done done for sure. The anodised bolts for the covers match the Greddy pulleys and the blue is the same as all the hoses. So there should only be 2 blues and polish/chrome in the engine bay (with the expection of the red Earl's fittings)

BTW I seen your rear seats today, really like the colour. Its going to look very classy when done :)

Probably won't get any/many pics done tomorrow as Kevin is out and I'll be rushed off my feet.

Regards,

Gaz.
