Glosphil
The other day my clutch peddle went all stiff and really creaky when pushed in. Next day it was fine again.... but heard the odd creak any ideas?

Glosphil
I like the manual, and its stopped doing it, but it obviously wasnt right and was hard to push, so dont want it doing it again when im off somewhere.
MRX
Mines a bit squeaky too (engine bay area)... is it a case of chucking some grease on a cable somewhere..?
Homer
It shouldn't be doing that (expect you guess that already!) Is the creak coming from the pedal area or the bellhousing? Can you get someone to depress the clutch while you have a listen where exactly the sound is coming from? Have you had the clutch or flywheel replaced recently? M4RK RZ
lube - sounds dry to me mate
Glosphil
I thought it may need a lube, trouble is I cant see where the linkage from the clutch to the gearbox is. I suspect this because I did a bit of "Jet washing" in the engine bay. For a good reason, my aux belt was squeaking coz I spilt grease on it a while back, so de-gunked and jet washed it. Probably washed some grease off the gearbox. But where do I lube?
Homer
There is a pivot point inside the car which often causes a creak, but as its a hydraulic clutch there is nothing in the engine bay to cause one. Thats why I asked if you could be more specific & confirm if it has been worked on recently, either its the pivot inside the car or its the clutch fork/release bearing in the bellhousing. Glosphil
Hmmmm bearing.... is that in any way related to the thrust bearing? i.e. the agriculteral cluttery sound I get like rattling gears when pulling off? lol
