dwayne
i did this yesterday and like the instructions said it felt sluggish but every time i have gone out for a drive it feels better and better. This may be an old topic but i just wondered who else has done this and how its working out for them. I personally feel its something i will get used to once i have got used to the different driving style. Just interested in different peoples views and experience thats all. cheers
Ric
wkdtime is from memory nic also was. Usually better for manuals rather than autos etc
wkdtime
Yup i had it on my old set up, It's not every ones cup of tea, I loved it and it's defo only suited for 6 Speed manuals. It was alot more predictable, no more number two throwing you off, may be its placeabo but mid range felt better, Nic has a dyno plot somewhere confirming this, but bare in mind he had his mapped with Emanage. Alex
Nic was running it, and had an eManage Blue tuned to make the most of it. But his bew GT35R has just made his old TTC setup lokk silly...
Steviekid
I ran in TTC for ages to overcome an unknown fault (that I finally fixed). I didn't like it much, car felt sluggish and annoyingly loud, even at idle.
Mike B
I did this without wiring the valves open.. it was crap.. but some other people love it. Wiring open seems to give much better results though. Like Nic I now have GT35R and it really does make TTC feel like someones stick a cork up your tailpipe.
Tricky-Ricky
I love it, been that way for over 9 months, it also takes the worry out of winter road conditions;) if you want to go drifting its a conscious effort, rather than whoops! there you go pick the opposite lock out of that, i like the strong power delivery, instead of the waiting for turbo two to kick in and then finding it rather disappointing, mind you i have EMU and water injection, and its mapped to take full advantage of TTC.
