i did this yesterday and like the instructions said it felt sluggish but every time i have gone out for a drive it feels better and better. This may be an old topic but i just wondered who else has done this and how its working out for them. I personally feel its something i will get used to once i have got used to the different driving style. Just interested in different peoples views and experience thats all.

cheers

Yup i had it on my old set up,

It's not every ones cup of tea, I loved it and it's defo only suited for 6 Speed manuals.

It was alot more predictable, no more number two throwing you off, may be its placeabo but mid range felt better, Nic has a dyno plot somewhere confirming this, but bare in mind he had his mapped with Emanage.

I did this without wiring the valves open.. it was crap.. but some other people love it. Wiring open seems to give much better results though.

Like Nic I now have GT35R and it really does make TTC feel like someones stick a cork up your tailpipe.

I love it, been that way for over 9 months, it also takes the worry out of winter road conditions;) if you want to go drifting its a conscious effort, rather than whoops! there you go pick the opposite lock out of that,

i like the strong power delivery, instead of the waiting for turbo two to kick in and then finding it rather disappointing, mind you i have EMU and water injection, and its mapped to take full advantage of TTC.
