All this talk of only running low boost. :)

These engines will stand up to 1.4-1.5 bar on a 67. Its all down to the tune. Good fuel, good fuel pressure, plugs, timing and duty cycle

You run your afr's slightly richer a degree or so less advance than a built engine maybe but it'll still kick ass. Its got to be one of the strongest engines out of the box there is.

Ive got a twin pump setup on mine. I had a faulty wire on one pump and I never noticed the fuel pressure guage in the car telling me fuel pressure was down. Still one worked and kept the car running without it going pop. 2 is safe, one is the cheaper option and your always going to want to push the car so 2 is better in my opinion.

heres always the the knowledge that 100 or so horses could be found if I adjusted the timing , up the boost and and lowered the afr's . Its one hell of a big carrot being dangled for any power hungry petrol heed...Those thoughts could lead to :bang:

As for too much power at 1.2 bar....Get some sticky rubber for the rear's and maybe you'll change your mind.:D :d

Seeing your comments homer on a t67 at 0.9 bar.. i am now worried how i will handle a t51r on the road with the potential of 800hp..... hmmmmm

You won't make enough boost for 800hp on road fuel...so don't worry too much - + you'll be waiting till Xmas for it to spool :D ;) :p

Hahahahahah too right..... allthough i believe the T51r is better than the T88 too spool... we will see how we go when it comes to mapping etc... there's been allot of headwork etc done on the car so i hope it will aid the turbo in spooling slightly quicker....:p
