When did you get back mate?

We got back on Tuesday evening, still not 100% yet but it was one hell of a trip. There were 39 in our party and we went to all of the places on your photo's.

What a blast eh?

Looks like you did ok with the women too!!:D

Looks like you had an awesome time, that black bus looks fantastic :) I haven't been to Vegas since I was 7 :(

Got to go back...

Has anyone played GTA Sanandreas..? The casinos in that are exact replicas of the ones on the strip, very amusing :)

That's what I thought whilst I was there. The similarity is amazing. I would imagine that you would bet bored after a week or so though. There is only so much gambling, drinking, sights and hookers you can manage in one week!!:D

Has anybody been to Saphires club?? Yummee Ladees!!:sly:

Yeah, we got back tuesday morning about 10am landing. Felt like absoloute crap.

The Pure club we managed to get ourselves into was only because we chatted up a blonde girl and her bf was the club designer. We just bold straight past all the crowds outside and straight to the bar. The $800 bottle of grey goose was a killer but well worth it. Kevin finderland (Or however you can spell it) can not sing!

The Rio vodoo lounge was fantastic - great food although when we asked for a table in the club they said we would need 2 tables and a min of 5 bottles a table. Lowest bottle on the menu was $350.

But ended up going to the pure club and watching the girl on girl action was well worth it!

Pen and Teller were ok, but was slightly boring in the middle of the show.

How was your trip H? got any pics? We stayed up for like 36 hours a time and then had about 5 hours sleep. Felt crap!

I have got quite a few pics of the trip but they are remarkably similar to yours. The only place I didn't get to was the Voodoo lounge..:(

I went on the ride that is on the top of the Stratosphere though, bloody shit myself (not literally).

Were you on the Virgin flight VS044 that landed at Gatwick?

It was delayed for 2 hours in Vegas and got back about 11AM??

In which case, you were on my flight.....bummer!!

yeah, i was on that flight :-)

Stuck at the airport playing wheel of fortune with our last few penny's.We were all sitting in rows 48 i think.. By the exits. :-)

Plane food is definatly not the same as the food out there :-)

As for the rides... You didn't get me on them... I chickened out after looking over the edge at the top.. fecking high! But i'll take the loss on the tickets ... ;-)

We were all around row 40 - 43, like a said, there were 39 of us. I went on what I thought was the safest of the three rides. The one that sends you 100 feet in the air fooking fast, when you are already a 1000 feet up..:(

I thought I was going to die!!

Some great photos! What camera? Looks like you had a great time I always love it in the US but never really considered Las Vegas due to not being into gambling, the talk of $800 bottles of drink and minimum of 5 bottles a table etc has put me off even more! What’s that about? Also it looks like you took limos everywhere from the photos and the helicopter ride looked great.

Yep, what camera? Mine struggled at night and distances. This is a place you must visit at least once! I went there and only had a couple of gambles, I won $100 wilth my first effort and had the common sense to quit while I was ahead.

The prices of the drinks were quite reasonable, just keep away from the lap dancing clubs and you'll be fine! A mate of mine paid $400 for a bottle of Vodka which is just insane....

Use cabs to get about at about $10 a time, plus a tip!!

Limo's were about $50 a go, so not massively expensive. Especially if there are more than 4 of you...;)

The buildings and sights will keep you busy for a good while and you could always just chill by the pool...:sly:

The camera's we had were a Nikon D80 with a zoom lense and close up lense. My Fujifilm S9500, and a Fujifilm Finepix Z3 (Pocket camera). Most of the good shots came from the D80 or the S9500, althought the Z3 gave some nice pics when we were out and about and didn't want to carry anything big.

The Stretched Hummer we paid $150 for to take us about 30 mins up the road - but split that between 13 and its cheap as chips.

As for the bottles, it depends on where you go i suppose, you can get into most of the clubs for cheap and just buy a few drinks to save money - we jsut ended up in a bloody expensive place. I found that if you tip everyone (Or the right people) they will do anything for you.

As for the casino's, in our place if your just sitting by a table the girls ask you if you want any drinks (Free) - so instead of staying at the bar and buying 2 red bulls and vodka for $21 just wait till they come round and have a little flutter on the table and get them for free.

They blew up stardust about a week back - and we flew over the top of it in our heli ride. They aren't slow in the states, it looks all cleared up and gone ;-)
