Bob
Just wondering, but is there anyone out there that has a map for a BPU TT on standard 440cc injectors? I'll be installing the EMB on mine soon and whilst I'm not expecting a great deal of difference, I was hoping to have it with the car running decently, at least for a while until I can afford to go for a small single setup. Or would I be as well zeroing all the values and leaving it as is?
Robert
If i were you mate, just zero everthing and use a wideband and go from there.
Tricky-Ricky
Unfortunately no two BPU Supras will be the same, in theory they should but due to small differences in air flow, fuel pressure etc you will find that what works well on one car won't on another, as said a wideband and start from zero is the best approach. Bob
I'd better pull my finger out and finish wiring up my Innovate doo-hickey then . Oh, and repair the missus' laptop which decided to eat it's own hard-drive this evening.
Bob
Does anyone else have an Emanage on a BPU car? If so, have they altered anything to do with the ignition or just fuelling?

Just fueling is enough, ONLY adjust the ignition if you are an experienced road mapper with some decent cans or on a rollign road.
Bob
That's kinda what I was thinking Fuelling it is then, and I'll leave the rest to the pros

Kranz
Edit - beaten to it........ but this is what my guess was!! I think he's referring to minimum AFR's (i.e. leanest to go). Stoichiometric (chemically correct) fueling is Lambda 1 (14.7 AFR) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air-fuel_ratio Adding a 5% safety margin at part throttle conditions is exactly that, a safety margin for a base map. Stoich burns hot and can give rise to detonation, so best to keep on the safe side. Gives slightly more power too!! I think its a 'don't go leaner than' condition??? Obviously at and approaching WOT you'd be running nowhere near stoich!!!

Ian C
Surely you'd fuel according to load, i.e. boost pressure and revs? Not just a target AFR slightly richer than stoich? -Ian

Who'll give me 5mins longevity for the engine on that map? Anyone..... anyone....
